Nimat El Zorkany brings over two decades of extensive experience in Risk Management within the Financial Services NBFI’s and Banking sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Waseela Consumer Finance since December 2022.

In her most recent role, she held the position of Head of Risk Management at Abdul Latif Jameel Finance Egypt from 2021 to 2022. Previously, she served as Head of Risk Management & Credit Policy at Endorse Finance – Prime Fintech from 2020 to 2021, and as Head of Risk Policy at Tamweel Consumer Finance in 2020.

Prior to this, she spent almost a decade at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) from 2009 to 2019, holding various roles including Head of the Complaints and Investigation Unit, Credit Initiation Manager, and finally as Credit Policy Senior Manager.

Her career began in 2000 at Citibank in the Collection department.

Nimat El Zorkany graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Literature, with a major in Spanish language and literature in June 1999.

She has completed the Leadership and Management program from the AUC School of Business and the Emerging Leaders Program from EBI – Central Bank of Egypt. Additionally, she holds recent certifications.
